Pro Base Worldcup Sapphire Tower - Istanbul / Turkey

I just came back from the Pro Base World Cup in Istanbul, Turkey. Omg what an amazing week… Don´t know where to start.

After landing in Istanbul, and checking-in the hotel, me and my dear friend from switzerland - Mel, we went to the big bazar.
There are about 4500 little shops, and every single one is kind of selling the same stuff :D but we had a blast, drinking tea and trying every single turkish delight.

On the second day we did an awesome jump from a helium ballon, just right next to the sea, on the asian side of Istanbul.

Day 3 was a down day, due to the heavy rain and wind. On the 4 day it was still quite windy, but they decided to start with the competition and some fun-jumps of the 230m high Sapphire Tower.

You´ve got such an awesome view, when you´re standing on the edge, I love it.

new wingsuit - V4

Finally I got it!! A couple of days ago my brand new >Vampire 4< arrived! :) I was soo looking forward to it, and yesterday I got to fly it for the first time... This thing is awesome, it´s superfast, I love it from the first second!! Kinda funny, but on the dropzone I was, there was the national austrian TV, for a docu about skydiving, so the gave us a camera, and we did a nice to way with follow cam, have a look at ORF1 in approximately two weeks and see my new beautiful baby ;)

Easter at the icy beachside

For the reason that I´m still not able to ski and I wanted to spend my easter some where nice, I´ve decided to head to a really beautiful island in the northern part of germany - Insel Rügen I´ve took some shorts with me, thinking it´s already april, fortunately I´ve also got my down jacket with me... As we arrived it started to snow like hell :D Awesome walk on the beach in a snowstorm, though I enjoyed it a lot, some relaxing days with doing nothing, just hanging around, eating and having a good time - have a look

oh no...

Some more great days of skiing before I had torn my side band... I´m quite sad, because it´s the middle of the winter and I was really motivated for skiing and all this stuff, but what should I do... I´ve already been talking to my physiotherapist, see her next week... Hopefully back on skis soon!!
